All alloy wheel refurbishments undertaken by Wheel Repair it undergo the following 10 point process guaranteeing the highest quality results.

1. Pre-clean inspection and damage evaluation
2. Removal of wheel and tyre from vehicle
3. Sanding using high power precision sanders working through 4 grades of sanding disc
4. Base coat of etch primer/ high build primer
5. Using 3m flattening pad the alloy is now keyed to prepare for painting
6. Dupont paint basecoat now applied
7. Dupont high gloss 2k lacquer now applied
8. Following drying time, and final wheel evaluation, tyre protector is removed
9. Tyre is now inflated to recommended pressure
10. On refitting to vehicle the wheel is re-torqued to manufacturers specification.

It should be noted that many mobile wheel refurbishing company’s choose to omit steps 4 and 5 to improve their margins by reducing the time taken to refurbish each wheel, thereby delivering an inferior service and finished product to the customer.
